"My body is too old to experience real healing now."
How it sounds in your head: Healing is for younger people whose bodies can still bounce back. At my age, cells don't regenerate like they used to. I've passed the point where miracles happen. God heals people with decades ahead of them, not someone in their seventies.
"Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's."
-- Psalm 103:5World system declares expiration dates on bodies, but God's Word has no age limit on miracles.
Medical science confirms cellular decline with age and decreased healing capacity. Society treats elderly bodies as beyond repair, only manageable.
Abraham was about 100 years old, his body 'as good as dead,' yet he did not waver at God's promise. God gave him strength and Sarah conceived—dead bodies came alive at God's Word.
I REFUSE the lie that my age disqualifies me from healing. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 103:5 that my youth is RENEWED like the eagle's—not managed, not slowed down, but RENEWED. My cells answer to the voice that spoke them into existence. IT IS WRITTEN that Abraham's dead body came alive at 100 years old. The same resurrection power that raised Christ dwells in me NOW. I am covered by the Abrahamic blessing that knows no age limit—blessed in my body, blessed in my latter years, the head and not the tail even at seventy-plus.
The Father didn't bring you this far to watch you deteriorate—He's preparing wine for the wedding while you're still smelling like the pig pen of pain. His best miracles often come in final chapters because that's just how extravagant He is.
