THE LIE Pain as Permanent

"This pain in my growing body will never go away—I'll always hurt like this."

How it sounds in your head: My knees ache, my back hurts from growing so fast, and everyone says 'growing pains are normal.' What if my body is just broken? What if I'm the girl who's always in pain, even when I'm older?

IT IS WRITTEN Exodus 15:26

"For I am the LORD who heals you."

Enemy whispers: 'Pain is your permanent companion as you grow—get used to it.' BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Exodus 15:26 - 'I am the LORD who heals you.' Not 'I am the Lord who helps you manage symptoms.' Not 'I am the Lord who gives you coping strategies.' HE IS YOUR HEALER. The same God who made your body to grow can make it grow WITHOUT PAIN. Jesus bore stripes so you wouldn't have to bear pain. Your body belongs to a HEALER, not to chronic suffering.

Quick Truth: LIE: Growing pains are permanent. TRUTH: 'I am the LORD who heals you' (Ex 15:26)—He's a healer, not a pain manager!

WHERE THIS LIE COMES FROM

Enemy whispers combined with dismissive adults who normalize childhood pain instead of speaking healing.

Why this feels true:

Adults keep saying 'it's just growing pains' like pain is supposed to be part of getting older. Her body feels uncomfortable and unfamiliar, and no one seems to think it can actually be healed—just managed.

THE BIBLICAL PRECEDENT Mark 5:29

She suffered for 12 YEARS—longer than you've been alive—spending all her money on doctors who made her worse. The INSTANT she touched Jesus' garment, her suffering stopped and she FELT in her body that she was healed—no process, no waiting, IMMEDIATE.

I REFUSE the lie that pain is my permanent companion! IT IS WRITTEN that God is the LORD who heals me—not manages me, but HEALS me! My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, bought with Jesus' blood, and pain has NO RIGHT to my temple! IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I AM healed—present tense, finished work! I am Abraham's seed through Christ, and the BARAK blessing covers my body—blessed coming in and going out, blessed in every cell and bone! I receive INSTANT healing right now because Jesus already paid for my pain-free body 2,000 years ago!
