"There's not enough to go around so I shouldn't ask for much"
How it sounds in your head: When I want something, I think about kids who have less and feel guilty. Like if I get more, someone else gets less. Maybe I should just be grateful for what I have and not ask for anything else.
"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."

She sees poverty in the world and feels guilty for wanting more when others have less. She's been taught 'be grateful for what you have' as code for 'don't ask for more,' so she believes wanting abundance is taking from others.
During famine, she had one meal left for her and her son before starvation. Elijah asked her to give it away first, and God multiplied it—her flour and oil didn't run out the ENTIRE famine. One act of trust triggered endless supply in the middle of scarcity.
I REFUSE the lie that there's not enough or that my provision takes from others. IT IS WRITTEN that God does exceedingly abundantly above all I ask or think. His resources are LIMITLESS, not rationed. IT IS WRITTEN in Malachi 3:10 that He opens the windows of heaven and pours out blessing until there's no room to receive it. The BARAK blessing means the Lord commands blessing on my storehouses. I will lend to many nations and borrow from none. I ask boldly because my Father's supply never runs out, and my abundance reveals His generosity to a watching world.
Your Father isn't counting pennies or worried about running out—He's the God of MORE THAN ENOUGH. He had 12 baskets of leftovers after feeding thousands, and He's already preparing overflow for you that'll bless everyone around you.
