"There's no hope for future generations; I should just focus on my own salvation and getting out."
How it sounds in your head: I look at my grandchildren growing up in this dark world—the violence, confusion, immorality everywhere. What's the point of investing in their future when judgment is coming? I'll just pray for their souls and wait for the rapture to rescue us all.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
-- Jeremiah 29:11Source: religious escapism theology that makes the gospel about evacuation instead of Kingdom advancement
She sees cultural degradation accelerating and feels powerless to protect her grandchildren from the chaos. Decades of 'any day now' rapture teaching have trained her to see withdrawal as spirituality instead of engagement.
In the ACTUAL end of the world by flood, God didn't just rescue Noah—He had him build an ark for 120 years, preserving animals and future generations. Even in judgment, God's plan included REBUILDING and FUTURE, not just escape.
I REFUSE the lie that there's no hope for coming generations. IT IS WRITTEN that God's thoughts toward my children and grandchildren are thoughts of PEACE and FUTURE, not evil. Even in Babylon's captivity, He commanded His people to build, plant, and multiply—not withdraw and wait for rescue. I am a woman under the BARAK blessing that extends to a thousand generations, and that covenant covers my descendants. IT IS WRITTEN in Acts 2:39 that the promise is to me, my children, and ALL who are afar off. I declare Kingdom advancement, not retreat. I invest in their future, I speak life over their destiny, I build inheritance for generations because my Father is NOT done with this earth.
The Father hasn't given up on your grandchildren or their world—He's positioning YOU as a gateway of blessing into their generation. While religion plans escape routes, He's handing you Kingdom keys for their future.
