"The world is ending soon, so building anything for the future is pointless."
How it sounds in your head: Why invest? Why plan? Everything's collapsing anyway. Just hunker down and wait for the rapture. Building a legacy is wasted effort when the antichrist could appear tomorrow.
"Build houses and dwell in them; plant gardens and eat their fruit. Take wives and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands, so that they may bear sons and daughters—that you may be increased there, and not diminished."
-- Jeremiah 29:5-6Enemy distortion of prophetic hope into paralyzing fear, weaponizing eschatology to abort destiny.
Every news cycle screams crisis, wars, rumors of wars, moral collapse. At 70+, it feels like you're watching the final act, so why bother planting trees you won't sit under?
During Jerusalem's siege, with Babylon's army at the gates and captivity certain, God told Jeremiah to BUY A FIELD as a prophetic act. In the worst crisis, God commanded INVESTMENT in the future, because there IS a future.
I REFUSE the lie that the world is ending so building is pointless. IT IS WRITTEN: Build houses, plant gardens, INCREASE and not diminish. I am under the BARAK blessing of Abraham—I am blessed coming in and going out, in the city and in the field. IT IS WRITTEN: The righteous are like trees planted by rivers of water, bringing forth fruit in season. I am PLANTING now. I am BUILDING now. My latter glory will exceed my former, and my grandchildren's children will eat the fruit of what I establish TODAY.
The Father isn't waiting for the world to end—He's waiting for sons to manifest. He's running toward you with blueprints, not evacuation plans, saying 'BUILD with Me, PLANT with Me, let's fill the earth with My glory THROUGH you.'
