"The prosperity gospel is fake - wanting wealth means I'm greedy and unspiritual"
How it sounds in your head: Every time you hear about biblical prosperity, you cringe a little. You've seen the televangelists, the seed-faith scams, the private jets. Wanting financial breakthrough feels carnal, like you're supposed to be above that. Spiritual people are content being poor, right?
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."

You've watched the abuses—preachers getting rich while followers stay broke. The whole thing feels manipulative, so you've thrown out biblical prosperity with the bathwater. Meanwhile you're stressed about rent and wondering if God even cares about your bank account.
Called friend of God, father of faith—and the Bible explicitly says he was 'very rich in livestock, silver, and gold.' His wealth didn't contradict his spirituality; it was part of the covenant blessing God gave him.
I REFUSE the lie that wanting provision is greedy or unspiritual. IT IS WRITTEN that God prays I prosper in ALL things, not just spiritual things (3 John 1:2). Abraham was wealthy, Isaac was wealthy, Jacob was wealthy—and I am their seed by covenant (Galatians 3:29). The BARAK blessing that made them ABOUND in prosperity is mine through Christ's blood. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus became poor so I might become RICH (2 Corinthians 8:9). I am not greedy for wanting what my Father already promised. I receive the wealth of the wicked laid up for the righteous (Proverbs 13:22) without guilt or apology.
Your Father isn't suspicious of your desire for provision—He's the One who GAVE you that desire. He's not waiting for you to become 'spiritual enough' to deserve wealth; He already made you righteous and is running toward you with abundance you didn't earn.
