"The physical pain I'm experiencing is just something I have to endure until death."
How it sounds in your head: The doctor says it's normal for your age. Hospice says keep you comfortable. Everyone's managing your pain, not eliminating it. This is just the cost of dying—you suffer through it because that's how the body shuts down.
"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed."
-- Isaiah 53:5Medical naturalism replacing biblical expectation of healing; religious acceptance of suffering as 'God's will' when it's enemy's assignment.
Every medical professional frames it as management, not healing. Your body is objectively failing. It feels arrogant to expect healing when everyone your age is in pain.
She was sick with a high fever—incapacitated, bedridden. Jesus touched her hand, and the fever left her IMMEDIATELY. Not gradually. Not 'managed.' GONE. And she IMMEDIATELY got up and served—from sick bed to full strength in one moment, demonstrating healing is instant and complete.
I REFUSE the lie that pain is just something I must endure. IT IS WRITTEN in Isaiah 53:5 that by His stripes I AM healed—present tense, purchased reality. Jesus bore my sicknesses at the cross; I do not have to carry what He already carried. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 103:3 that He 'heals ALL your diseases'—not some, not eventually, ALL. I speak to this pain the way Jesus spoke to fever and storms: BE GONE. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and disease has no legal right here. I receive healing as my covenant inheritance RIGHT NOW, and I expect my body to align with heaven's reality where there is no pain.
Your Father isn't standing back saying 'that's just how dying goes.' He's the same Healer at 90 as at 9, and His arm is not shortened. He's reaching for your pain right now, ready to take it the same way Jesus took the fever—with one touch.
