"The people who hurt me in church are prospering while I'm still suffering the consequences."
How it sounds in your head: The pastor who spiritually abused me just planted another church and everyone's celebrating him. The elder who spread lies about me is still in leadership. Meanwhile, I'm in therapy, can't trust anyone, and struggling financially from leaving that system. Where's the justice?
"For the day of the LORD upon all the nations is near; as you have done, it shall be done to you; your reprisal shall return upon your own head."
-- Obadiah 1:15Source: Delayed justice twisted into belief that God rewards abusers and punishes victims, creating bitterness and crisis of His goodness.
You can see their continued success on social media while your pain is private and ongoing. The visible injustice feels like proof God doesn't care or doesn't see.
Ahab and Jezebel murdered Naboth, stole his vineyard, and appeared to prosper. Years passed. Then God sent Jehu who killed Ahab's entire household and Jezebel was thrown from a window and eaten by dogs in the EXACT spot they murdered Naboth. Justice delayed is not justice denied. God remembers every wound.
I REFUSE the lie that abusers prosper while I suffer. IT IS WRITTEN that the day of the Lord is near and their reprisal will return on their own heads. My pain is not proof God is unjust—it's the labor before the birth. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, and NO weapon formed against me will prosper. IT IS WRITTEN that vengeance belongs to the Lord, and I release them to His justice, not mine. I declare the BARAK blessing over my restoration—while I focused on their platform, God was building MINE. My vindication is not in their fall but in my RISE. My latter will be greater, and my story will silence every lie they spoke.
Father has been building a case in the courts of Heaven while you thought He was silent. He's about to vindicate you so thoroughly that their 'success' will be exposed as the house of cards it always was, and YOUR story will set captives free.
