"The doctor's diagnosis is my final verdict and God must submit to medical science."
How it sounds in your head: The doctor said it with such authority, printed it on official letterhead, coded it in my chart. He went to medical school for years. Who am I to question science? God probably works through doctors, which means this is His answer too.
"Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise."
-- Jeremiah 17:14Enemy using world's system (medical authority) to override God's authority and final Word.
Doctors have credentials, technology, research—tangible proof. God feels invisible and medical science feels more real than faith right now. Everyone respects the doctor's opinion more than a teenager's belief.
Isaiah the prophet told King Hezekiah, 'Set your house in order, for you SHALL DIE and not live'—God's own prophet delivered a death sentence. Hezekiah turned his face to the wall, wept, and prayed. Before Isaiah left the courtyard, God sent him BACK with a new word: 'I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; I will add FIFTEEN YEARS to your life.' God overrode His OWN prophet's medical-spiritual diagnosis INSTANTLY.
I REFUSE the lie that any human authority has the final word over my body. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus Himself took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses, and by His stripes I WAS healed—past tense, FINISHED at the cross. The doctor sees present symptoms; my Father sees FINISHED WORK. IT IS WRITTEN that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and I am blessed in my body, blessed with health, blessed with the Abrahamic blessing that includes LIFE and HEALING because Christ redeemed me from every curse. I am NOT my diagnosis—I am a daughter of the King whose Body was broken so mine could be whole.
Your Father heard the diagnosis before the doctor spoke it, and He's not worried—He's already holding your healing. Like the prodigal, you don't have to earn it or figure it out; He's RUNNING toward you with restoration while you're still afraid, still believing the report, still covered in the shame of sickness.
