"The devil is too strong and I don't have enough faith to overcome him."
How it sounds in your head: I read about people who see breakthrough and freedom, but my faith isn't at that level. The enemy seems more real and powerful than my ability to believe. I'm outmatched.
"For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil."
-- 1 John 3:8Source: religious teaching that measures spiritual victory by strength of personal faith rather than finished work of Christ and believer's positional authority.
The visible evidence of ongoing struggle combined with teachings about 'great faith' suggests your faith is the problem. Other men seem to have what you lack.
A father brought his demon-possessed son to Jesus and said 'IF you can do anything, help us.' Jesus said 'All things are possible to him who believes.' The father cried 'I believe; help my unbelief!' and Jesus IMMEDIATELY cast out the demon - imperfect faith was enough.
I REFUSE the lie that Satan is too strong for my faith. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus was manifested to DESTROY the works of the devil, and He already did it. This isn't about my faith being perfect - it's about Jesus' work being FINISHED. IT IS WRITTEN in Luke 10:18 that Jesus saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. The enemy is FALLEN, DEFEATED, and UNDER MY FEET. My authority doesn't come from great faith - it comes from great JESUS. Even faith the size of a mustard seed moves mountains. The BARAK blessing protected Isaac even when he LIED about his wife - my protection isn't based on perfect faith but on COVENANT.
The Father isn't measuring your faith before He moves - He moved 2000 years ago at the cross. Satan is already defeated; your imperfect faith is simply agreeing with what's already true.
