"Supernatural healing doesn't happen anymore because we have doctors and medicine now."
How it sounds in your head: Your rational mind says God used miracles before modern medicine existed, but now we have hospitals so He works through medical science instead. Expecting supernatural healing seems like rejecting medical advancement.
"For I am the LORD, I do not change; therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob."
-- Malachi 3:6Source: Enlightenment rationalism that divided natural from supernatural into competing categories
Medicine works through observable mechanisms while miracles seem random. It feels more mature to trust proven medical intervention than to hope for invisible divine action.
Hezekiah was sick to the point of death and Isaiah said 'set your house in order, you shall die.' Hezekiah prayed, and God INSTANTLY added fifteen years to his life—medical prognosis completely reversed in one moment.
I REFUSE the lie that God replaced miracles with medicine. IT IS WRITTEN that the Lord does not change—His healing nature isn't diminished by medical advancement. I thank God for doctors AND I believe in instant supernatural healing because He is the SAME. The BARAK blessing doesn't consult medical statistics before releasing health over my body. IT IS WRITTEN in Exodus 15:26 that He is the Lord who heals me—present tense, ongoing, regardless of what medical tools exist. I receive healing through WHATEVER means my unchanging Father chooses.
The Father is running toward you with healing in His wings, not limited by whether you've tried medicine first or still believe in miracles. He's prepared BOTH medical provision AND supernatural intervention because He's extravagantly generous, not rationing His methods based on your era.
