"Sudden financial blessing will ruin you. You need years of character development first or you'll crash."
How it sounds in your head: You've heard the lottery horror stories and seen sudden-wealth disasters. Even if God wanted to bless you financially, you'd probably mess it up. Better to stay small and safe than get something you're not 'ready' for.
"Both riches and honor come from You, and You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; in Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all."
-- 1 Chronicles 29:12Enemy using worldly cautionary tales to block covenant blessing and keep you in false humility poverty.
The statistics are real—most lottery winners do crash, most sudden-wealth recipients do fail. Without 'character developed through process,' wouldn't you just be set up for disaster?
Asked for wisdom, and God said 'I have also given you what you have not asked: both RICHES and HONOR, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days'—SUDDEN, MASSIVE wealth came with the wisdom to handle it, both in one package from God.
I REFUSE the lie that sudden blessing will ruin me. IT IS WRITTEN in 1 Chronicles 29:12 that RICHES come from God, and in HIS hand is the power to make great and give STRENGTH to all—He doesn't give wealth without the grace to steward it. Lottery curses are WORLDLY wealth without covenant. IT IS WRITTEN in 1 Kings 3:13 that God gave Solomon RICHES and HONOR suddenly, along with the WISDOM to handle it. The BARAK blessing comes with built-in grace—Abraham didn't crash with sudden Egypt wealth, the prodigal got ring and robe without 'probation.' I receive SUDDEN blessing WITH supernatural capacity.
The Father doesn't set traps with His gifts—He's not handing you wealth to watch you fail. When He loaded Israel with Egypt's gold SUDDENLY, He gave them the Tabernacle project to steward it. Like the prodigal's father who gave robe, ring, and authority INSTANTLY without fear the son would blow it again—the Father TRUSTS His own grace in you.
