"Something must be wrong with me if I'm still alone"
How it sounds in your head: Other guys are already getting girlfriends or at least getting noticed. If I was normal or good enough, someone would like me by now. There must be something broken in me.
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end."
-- Ecclesiastes 3:11Religious and world lie that relationship status reveals character defects or hidden unworthiness.
Pre-teen comparison is savage, and early developers seem to get all the attention. Being behind peers developmentally creates panic that something is fundamentally wrong.
Esther was an orphan with no status, hidden away while other girls went through a year-long beauty process competing for the king. When HER time came, the king loved her MORE than all the others and made her queen immediately—she didn't compete, she just showed up at the right moment.
I REFUSE the lie that something is wrong with me because I'm still single. IT IS WRITTEN that He makes everything beautiful in its TIME. My timing is not my peers' timing—it's PERFECT timing orchestrated by my Father. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 8:1 that there is NO condemnation for me in Christ Jesus. I am whole, complete, and accepted RIGHT NOW. I am under the BARAK blessing that made Isaac wealthy BEFORE Rebekah came. I receive God's perfect timing, divine appointments, and the confidence that I lack nothing. Nothing is broken in me.
Your Father isn't waiting for you to fix something before He moves—He's orchestrating perfect timing while you're complete RIGHT NOW. Like Esther hidden until her moment, you're not behind; you're right on divine schedule.
