"Something is fundamentally wrong with me that doctors can't fix and God won't heal."
How it sounds in your head: You've tried everything. Doctors, tests, prayers, supplements. Nothing works. You're the medical mystery, the unanswered prayer, the one who falls through the cracks. Even God seems silent on this.
"For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, says the Lord, because they called you an outcast."
-- Jeremiah 30:17Enemy hopelessness: 'You're the exception. Everyone else gets healed. You're stuck with this forever.'
The track record is clear. Nothing has worked. Every hope has been disappointed. At some point, facing 'reality' feels wiser than hoping again and being crushed. The exhaustion is your constant companion.
She bled for 12 YEARS, spent all her money on doctors who made her WORSE, was ceremonially unclean and untouchable. One touch of Jesus' garment and IMMEDIATELY the bleeding stopped—she FELT in her body she was healed. Jesus called her 'daughter.'
I REFUSE the lie that I'm the exception, the hopeless case. IT IS WRITTEN: He WILL restore health to me—future promise, guaranteed. I am not an outcast—I am IN CHRIST, seated in heavenly places. The BARAK blessing that protected murderers and liars doesn't skip me because doctors are confused. IT IS WRITTEN: by His stripes I WAS healed—past tense, FINISHED. My healing isn't coming—it's already DONE. I'm just walking into the manifest reality of what's already TRUE.
Your Father doesn't see you as the 'tough case' He's avoiding. He sees you as His beloved son, and He's running toward you with the answer doctors don't have. The prodigal was the 'hopeless case'—and the Father threw him the party. THAT'S who God is.
