She broke an alabaster jar of pure nard—worth a year's wages—and poured it on Jesus' feet. Everyone criticized the waste of resources. Jesus said she'd be remembered forever for it—she had extravagant wealth to give sacrificially, and it appeared suddenly in the story without explanation of how she afforded it.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm stuck in financial necessity without choices. IT IS WRITTEN that my God supplies ALL my need according to HIS riches in glory—not according to my paycheck or my husband's salary, but according to HEAVEN'S wealth. I am under the BARAK blessing, which means provision flows TO me from sources I haven't seen yet. IT IS WRITTEN that the Lord commands the blessing on me and makes me the head and not the tail. The God who supplied a year's wages worth of perfume to a woman whose story we don't even know in full can supply my need to make the choice my heart wants. I am not limited by current income—I am supplied by HEAVEN'S economy, and breakthrough doesn't require a decade of savings. It requires one divine encounter.
The Father doesn't see your clocked-in hours as your limit—He sees your heart's desire and He's running toward you with provision like He ran toward the prodigal. While you're comparing your necessity to her choice, He's preparing your suddenly moment when the finances shift so unexpectedly you'll quit not because you saved but because He SUPPLIED, and it'll be so clear it was Him that you'll tell everyone what God did.
