"Rich people have something I'll never have—connections, confidence, a head start."
How it sounds in your head: They know people. They have networks. They grew up hearing about investments and opportunities while I grew up hearing about bills. They walk into rooms like they belong. I don't even know what I'm missing—that's the scariest part.
"The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it."
-- Proverbs 10:22World lie that wealth is about natural access rather than supernatural favor.
She watches how confident rich people are. They know which fork to use. They reference vacation spots she's never heard of. The culture gap feels wider than the wealth gap.
Joseph was in PRISON—no connections, no resume, no LinkedIn profile, falsely accused, forgotten by everyone. Pharaoh had a dream, and within HOURS Joseph went from prisoner to second-in-command of Egypt, wearing royal robes and a signet ring—INSTANT promotion that bypassed every earthly system.
I REFUSE the lie that I need what rich people have—connections, confidence, or head starts. IT IS WRITTEN that the blessing of the Lord makes rich, and God doesn't need human gatekeepers to open my doors. Joseph went from prison to palace in HOURS with zero connections. The BARAK gave Abraham favor with kings who didn't know him. IT IS WRITTEN that the Lord commands the blessing on my storehouses (Deuteronomy 28:8). I don't need the right network—I have the RIGHT GOD. Favor surrounds me like a shield (Psalm 5:12). Doors open because HE opens them, not because I know someone.
The Father doesn't say, 'If only you knew the right people.' He says, 'I AM the right connection—and I'm introducing you to opportunities you couldn't access or orchestrate.' He's already arranging the meeting.
