"Real men figure out provision alone without asking God or others for help."
How it sounds in your head: Your grandfather built a business with his hands. Your dad never asked for handouts. Real men don't pray for money, they earn it. Asking God for provision is weak. Needing help means you've failed as a man.
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

Every male role model you had emphasized self-sufficiency. Culture celebrates the self-made man. Dependence feels like emasculation when independence is your identity.
Elijah the prophet - one of the mightiest men in Scripture - was fed by ravens bringing him food twice daily. He didn't 'man up' and hunt - he received supernatural provision through total dependence on God.
I REFUSE the lie that needing God's provision makes me weak. IT IS WRITTEN that my God SHALL SUPPLY all my needs according to HIS riches. Dependence on God is strength, not weakness. IT IS WRITTEN that it's not by MY might or power, but by His Spirit. I am a BRANCH abiding in the VINE - connection, not self-sufficiency, is my design. Elijah was fed by birds. David was sustained by God through wilderness years. Real men receive from their Father. I boldly ask, seek, and knock for provision.
Your Father isn't impressed by your independence - He's waiting for you to discover what His dependence releases. The prodigal's breakthrough came when he RAN HOME to the Father, not when he toughed it out alone.
