"Real faith would have healed me by now if I believed enough."
How it sounds in your head: Other people get miracles. You prayed, others prayed, nothing changed. Maybe your faith isn't strong enough. Maybe you're secretly doubting. This is YOUR failure.
"And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise: God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us."
-- Hebrews 11:39-40Religion: Word of Faith teaching makes healing the PROOF of faith, turning God into a vending machine and making the sick feel like spiritual failures.
Bible says 'according to your faith' and 'all things are possible to him who believes.' You're still limited, so logically your faith must be deficient. It's math.
Apostle who raised the dead and healed multitudes had a 'thorn in the flesh' - prayed THREE times for healing, God said NO. Instead gave him 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness' - greater gift than healing.
I REFUSE the lie that my condition proves weak faith. IT IS WRITTEN: Heroes of faith died without receiving promises yet God commended their FAITH. Paul prayed for healing and God said NO - gave him grace instead. My faith is in CHRIST, not my healing. IT IS WRITTEN: I am the righteousness of God IN CHRIST (2 Corinthians 5:21) - my standing is based on HIS performance, not my healing. God's strength is perfected in my weakness. The BARAK blessing is mine by COVENANT, not by my faith level. I am approved, accepted, and righteous NOW.
The Father didn't require the prodigal to have great faith - the son just came home and the Father did EVERYTHING. Your healing or lack thereof doesn't determine the Father's love - He runs toward you either way.
