"Prosperity preachers are all scammers. Biblical wealth is only about spiritual riches."
How it sounds in your head: You've seen the televangelists with private jets and it makes you sick. Your youth pastor says real Christians shouldn't care about money. So you think wanting financial breakthrough makes you shallow or fake.
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
-- 3 John 1:2Religious spirit twisting scriptures to keep believers poor; poverty mindset disguised as humility.
Some loud voices in ministry do abuse the message for personal gain. Your church culture celebrates struggle and side-eyes anyone with nice things, calling it 'worldly.'
God called Abraham His friend and blessed him with massive wealth—very rich in livestock, silver, and gold. This was BEFORE the law, purely by covenant promise, setting the pattern for all who believe.
I REFUSE the lie that God only cares about my spiritual life and wants me broke. IT IS WRITTEN that He wishes I prosper in ALL THINGS, just as my soul prospers. I am Abraham's seed through faith in Jesus, and the BARAK blessing is mine—not because I earned it, but because CHRIST redeemed me from the curse. IT IS WRITTEN that He gives me power to get wealth to establish His covenant. I reject poverty theology that calls lack 'humility.' I am a carrier of Heaven's abundance, blessed to be a blessing.
Your Father isn't offended by your need for money—He's the One who designed you to prosper. He's already running toward you with provision, not waiting for you to become 'spiritual enough' to deserve it.
