How it sounds in your head: Your dad has a bad back. Your coach has knee problems. Your grandpa takes pain pills every day. Pain is normal—it's what happens when you play hard, grow up, live in a broken world. Expecting to be pain-free is unrealistic.

Literally every adult he knows has some chronic pain they just 'deal with.' Statistically, pain does seem normal and universal in a fallen world.
Leprosy was considered permanent, incurable, a lifelong sentence—everyone just 'dealt with it' by isolation. Naaman had money, power, access to the best doctors, and zero hope of cure. He dipped seven times in the Jordan and his flesh was RESTORED like the flesh of a little child—total, instant, permanent reversal of 'incurable.'
I REFUSE the lie that pain is just normal life. IT IS WRITTEN that God's will is for me to be in HEALTH, just as my soul prospers. I'm not settling for what's common when Jesus paid for what's supernatural. Pain may be statistically normal, but I don't live by statistics—I live by the Spirit who gives LIFE to my mortal body. IT IS WRITTEN in Isaiah 53:4 that He carried my pains and bore my sicknesses. Carried them AWAY, not left them with me to manage. I am in covenant—the BARAK blessing of Abraham means my body is blessed coming and going, in activity and in rest. What's 'normal' in the world is not my portion in the Kingdom. I declare: health is my inheritance, not pain management!
The Father isn't asking you to settle for 'normal' when He gave you His Son—nothing about grace is normal. The prodigal didn't get 'normal reintegration'; he got the robe, the ring, the fatted calf—supernatural restoration beyond what's common.
