"I'm too old for my body to heal from this chronic pain condition now."
How it sounds in your head: Healing is for younger people whose bodies still have resilience. At 66, my body has lost its ability to bounce back. The medical research is clear—healing capacity diminishes with age. I had my chance for healing when I was younger. Now I just need to manage decline as gracefully as possible.
"The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing."
-- Psalm 92:12-14Enemy leveraging biological facts to override supernatural covenant, making age the final authority instead of the ageless God.
Medical literature confirms reduced healing capacity with age. His body empirically takes longer to recover from anything now than it did at 30. Friends his age are all dealing with similar irreversible conditions.
Abraham was 100 years old, Sarah 90—both 'as good as dead' physically (Romans 4:19). God didn't just heal Sarah's womb; He restored Abraham's vitality. Isaac was born, and Abraham lived another 75 years in strength, even remarrying after Sarah and fathering six more sons (Genesis 25:1-2).
I REFUSE the lie that I'm too old for healing. IT IS WRITTEN: 'They shall still bear fruit in OLD AGE; they shall be fresh and flourishing.' I am not managing decline—I am FLOURISHING by covenant. The BARAK blessing that kept Moses strong at 120 flows through me. IT IS WRITTEN: By Jesus' stripes I AM healed—present tense, no age restriction. I am Abraham's seed, and if God gave Abraham strength to father children at 100, my pain doesn't stand a chance. My body hears the WORD: Be FRESH. Be STRONG. Be HEALED.
The Father doesn't look at your birthdate and sigh—He looks at the BLOOD of Jesus and shouts, 'COVERED!' He sees you like Abraham at 100: not too old, but perfectly positioned for a miracle that defies biology and makes Him famous.
