"One slip and I'm back to zero - all progress erased instantly"
How it sounds in your head: If I mess up even once, everything I've done to get better is completely wasted. It's like a video game where one mistake sends you all the way back to level one. I can't afford to fail even a little bit or I'll lose everything.
"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus."

Recovery programs literally reset counters to zero after one mistake, and adults constantly warn about 'slippery slopes.' Her brain feels like the craving came back just as strong, making it seem like no progress happened at all.
Denied Jesus three times, cursing and swearing he never knew Him - the ultimate betrayal and 'relapse' into old fisherman identity. Jesus restored him INSTANTLY at breakfast with zero mention of the denials, no waiting period, immediately gave him leadership of the church without probation.
I REFUSE the lie that one mistake erases my identity. IT IS WRITTEN there is NOW no condemnation for me in Christ - not 'no condemnation if I'm perfect.' The Father doesn't have a reset button because Jesus FINISHED the work. I am not defined by streaks or counters but by BLOOD that never loses power. IT IS WRITTEN His mercies are NEW EVERY MORNING - not 'you lost your progress.' Even when Peter denied Jesus three times in one night, Jesus handed him the keys to the church days later. I stand in FINISHED righteousness, not fragile progress.
The Father isn't deleting your progress when you stumble - He's running toward you with the robe and ring before you even finish your apology. His love has no reset button because it was never based on your performance streak in the first place.
