"Older generations have all the wisdom. I should just listen and not speak up."
How it sounds in your head: They've lived longer so they know better. Your ideas are naive. Just keep quiet and learn from the adults. Don't embarrass yourself.
"Great men are not always wise, nor do the aged always understand justice."
-- Job 32:9Enemy lie silencing this generation's prophetic voice before it can speak.
Adults literally say 'when you're older you'll understand' and 'you'll see when you have more experience.' His suggestions get dismissed with patronizing smiles.
Elihu was the youngest of Job's counselors and waited while the older men spoke—but they got it wrong. Elihu spoke TRUTH that the aged men missed, proving that the Spirit gives understanding, not birthdays.
I REFUSE the lie that age equals wisdom and youth equals ignorance. IT IS WRITTEN that great men are not always wise and the aged don't always understand justice. God gives wisdom to those who ask, and He didn't put an age requirement on that promise. IT IS WRITTEN that if any man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives liberally—not 'when you're older.' I have the mind of Christ NOW. The BARAK blessing makes me the head and not the tail in understanding. My voice carries heaven's perspective.
The Father is downloading fresh strategies to you that older generations might miss because they're stuck in old wineskins. He chose you to hear NEW things, not just repeat old things.
