"No one values the work women my age used to do anymore."
How it sounds in your head: Everything I spent my life doing—raising children, keeping home, serving others—the world says was worthless. I have no 'real' skills, no degrees, no career. I wasted my life on things that don't matter now.
"Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 'Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all.'"
-- Proverbs 31:28-29World's lie that women's traditional roles have no value; enemy attack on feminine calling and legacy.
She sees cultural messages dismissing homemaking and caregiving. Her life's work feels invisible and unappreciated.
Deborah was a wife, prophetess, and JUDGE of Israel—the entire nation came to her for wisdom and leadership. She led Israel to military victory while remaining in her feminine identity. Her influence shaped a generation INSTANTLY.
I REFUSE the lie that my life's work has no value. IT IS WRITTEN that children rise up and call their mother BLESSED, that she EXCELS all others. God honors raising children, serving families, caring for others—what the world dismisses, Heaven APPLAUDS. I am like Deborah, a woman whose wisdom and influence shaped a nation. IT IS WRITTEN in Titus 2:3-5 that older women are to teach what is GOOD—my life has PURPOSE right now, teaching and blessing the next generation. My value isn't determined by job titles or paychecks—it's determined by my Father who says I am PRECIOUS in His sight, HONORED, and LOVED. The BARAK blessing rests on me, on my household, on my legacy.
Your Father sees every meal you cooked, every tear you wiped, every sacrifice you made—and He calls it EXCELLENT. While the world ignored it, Heaven was APPLAUDING. He's not asking for a resume; He's celebrating your FAITHFULNESS.
