How it sounds in your head: They say 'God won't waste your pain' and 'there's a reason for this season.' Maybe He's trying to teach me patience, dependence, humility. Maybe I'm supposed to learn something before He heals me.

Christian books and sermons say suffering builds character. Well-meaning friends quote Romans 8:28 as if God orchestrated the illness.
Disciples asked 'who sinned that he was born blind—him or his parents?' Jesus said NEITHER—'that the works of God should be revealed in him.' Then Jesus HEALED him instantly. God's work is HEALING, not maintaining blindness for lessons.
I REFUSE the lie that God authors sickness! IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus healed ALL who were oppressed BY THE DEVIL—sickness is enemy oppression, not Father's teaching tool. God's will is revealed in Jesus, and Jesus DESTROYED sickness everywhere He went. IT IS WRITTEN that the thief comes to steal, kill, destroy, but Jesus came to give ABUNDANT LIFE. I am under the BARAK blessing—the blessing is HEALTH, not sickness. God's character-building tool is His WORD and His SPIRIT, not disease!
Your Father isn't teaching you through sickness—He's teaching you through His WORD. Jesus destroyed sickness with the same passion the Father ran to the prodigal. Sickness isn't His tool; HEALING is His nature.
