"My questions and need to understand exhaust people who just want me to accept things."
How it sounds in your head: In church, you ask 'why' and get labeled doubting or difficult. At work, your questions are seen as challenging authority. In relationships, your need to process feels like you're overanalyzing. Everyone else seems fine just accepting things; you're the problem.
"Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow."
-- Isaiah 1:18Source: religion - 'don't question God' teaching that branded intellectual curiosity as rebellion instead of designed wiring.
You've been directly told to stop asking so many questions. Leaders get defensive. People roll their eyes when you want to dig deeper, proving your curiosity is indeed annoying.
Asked God for a sign with the fleece. Got it. Then asked for the OPPOSITE sign to be sure. God didn't rebuke him for excessive questions - He answered BOTH requests immediately.
I REFUSE the lie that my questions exhaust God or people. IT IS WRITTEN that God invites me to reason together with Him. My curiosity is not rebellion - it's how He WIRED me. The Father doesn't want blind compliance; He wants engaged relationship. IT IS WRITTEN in Proverbs 25:2 that it's the glory of kings to search out a matter, and I am a king and priest unto God. The BARAK blessing over me means I have divine WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING. I am not difficult; I am designed for depth.
The Father is running toward you with ANSWERS, not annoyance. While insecure leaders shut down your questions, He's opening scrolls, revealing mysteries, and saying 'FINALLY someone who wants to go deeper with Me.'
