Too Much
"My needs drain people financially. I cost my family too much and should want less."

How it sounds in your head: I hear my parents argue about money after I ask for new shoes. I see my mom's face when I need something for school. I feel guilty for eating food, for growing out of clothes, for existing. Maybe if I just stopped needing things, they'd be happier.

Malachi 3:10

"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it."

-- Malachi 3:10
Enemy whispers: You're a financial drain, you cost too much, you're the reason for lack. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Malachi 3:10 - God wants to pour out blessing until there's NOT ROOM ENOUGH to receive it. The BARAK blessing means you are BLESSED in your storehouses—provision flows TO you, not away from you. In Galatians 3:14, the blessing of Abraham came upon you through Christ—and Abraham's blessing protected him even when he LIED. Your needs don't create lack; your PRESENCE releases blessing.
Quick Truth: LIE: I cost too much. TRUTH: The BARAK blessing flows TO me, not away from me. Gal 3:14

Poverty spirit saying your existence is a financial burden instead of a covenant blessing.

Why this feels true:

You've heard 'money doesn't grow on trees' and 'do you think I'm made of money' so many times you feel like a walking expense. You see stress on your parents' faces and blame yourself for their financial pressure.

1 Kings 17:8-16
Widow of Zarephath's son

The widow was down to her LAST meal—one handful of flour, one drop of oil, then death. Elijah showed up and asked her to feed HIM first. Her 'burden' became her MIRACLE—the flour and oil never ran out as long as the 'needy prophet' was there.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that I'm a financial drain. IT IS WRITTEN that God will open the windows of heaven and pour out blessing until there's not room enough to receive it. My needs don't create lack—my PRESENCE releases the BARAK blessing. IT IS WRITTEN in Galatians 3:14 that the blessing of Abraham is mine through Christ—and that blessing PROTECTED Abraham even when he sinned. I am not a burden; I am a CARRIER of covenant blessing. Provision flows TO me because Christ took the curse of poverty so I could walk in Abraham's abundance. I cost nothing—I bring EVERYTHING.

But God actually:

The Father doesn't see you as an expense line on a budget—He sees you as the RETURN on His greatest investment. He didn't spare His own Son, so why would He withhold ANYTHING else?
