"My personality is too strong and intimidates people"
How it sounds in your head: I've been told I'm 'too much' or that I need to tone it down. Other kids seem intimidated by me even though I'm not trying to be scary. Adults say I have a 'strong personality' like it's a bad thing. I don't know how to be less... me.
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
-- 2 Timothy 1:7Enemy attack on leadership gifting, trying to shrink him before he steps into the authority God placed in him.
People have physically stepped back or avoided him after seeing his intensity. He's been labeled as 'too much' or 'too intense' multiple times, making him believe his natural strength is a threat rather than a gift.
Gideon saw himself as weak and small, hiding from enemies. God showed up and called him 'mighty warrior' BEFORE he ever fought a battle, seeing his strength before Gideon did, then used him to defeat entire armies with 300 men.
I REFUSE the lie that my personality is too strong or that I need to shrink to make others comfortable. IT IS WRITTEN that God gave me a spirit of POWER, not fear, and that power is part of my design. My strength is not intimidation—it's LEADERSHIP being formed. IT IS WRITTEN that I am the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath, and God is raising me up to LEAD. The BARAK blessing over my life means I carry divine authority and favor. I don't apologize for the way God made me. The right people will see my strength and say 'that's exactly who we need.' I am not too much—I am ENOUGH, and I am EXACTLY who God called me to be.
The Father sees your strength and whispers 'That's My warrior.' He's not trying to tone you down—He's preparing to UNLEASH you. Every bit of intensity you've been told to hide, He's about to give you a PLATFORM for it.
