"My prayers aren't answered because I don't have enough faith to move God."
How it sounds in your head: I pray and pray but nothing changes. I must not have the kind of faith that moves mountains. Other people's prayers work - mine just bounce off the ceiling. There's something defective about my connection to God.
"Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him."
-- 1 John 5:14-15Enemy lie making prayer a WORK that manipulates God instead of RELATIONSHIP where Father responds to His nature.
You've watched decades of unanswered prayer pile up like evidence in a court case. The enemy presents each 'no' or 'wait' as proof your faith isn't strong enough to activate God.
This widow had NO power, NO connections, NO leverage - just kept asking. The judge granted her request not because of her faith-strength but because of her persistence. Jesus said 'Will not God avenge His own elect who cry to Him day and night?' - He WILL answer.
I REFUSE the lie that my prayers are powerless because of weak faith. IT IS WRITTEN that if I ask according to His will, He HEARS me and I HAVE what I asked. My confidence is in HIM, not my faith-performance. IT IS WRITTEN that the centurion's simple trust was called great faith - I don't need emotional gymnastics. I am righteous in Christ, a child the Father DELIGHTS to answer. The BARAK blessing means I'm heard, favored, blessed - not because I'm perfect but because I'm COVENANT. My prayers move heaven because I'm IN JESUS.
The Father doesn't wait for you to generate enough faith-energy to activate Him - He's already leaning in, listening intently to every whispered prayer, running toward you with answers before you finish asking, delighting in you like the prodigal's father who had been watching the road every day.
