"My past disqualifies me from the blessings and favor God gives to faithful men."
How it sounds in your head: You look around at other men your age who stayed faithful to their wives, who built solid careers, who raised their kids right. They have peace. They have God's favor. You forfeited that through your choices. You're in the second-tier now—the men who blew it. God may save you, but His best is for men who got it right.
"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."
-- Galatians 3:13-14Comparison-based theology that creates tiers of believers—those who qualify for favor and those who missed their window through failure.
Visible contrast with men who made better choices creates a narrative that blessings are distributed based on track record. Their success feels like evidence of their qualification and your disqualification.
Jacob was a deceiver, manipulator, and liar who stole his brother's blessing through trickery and fled in disgrace. Yet God met him at Jabbok, changed his name to ISRAEL, and made him the father of the twelve tribes—full blessing despite decades of failure.
I REFUSE the lie that my past creates a second-tier relationship with God. IT IS WRITTEN that Christ redeemed me from the curse so the BLESSING OF ABRAHAM would come upon me—the same blessing that covered liars, deceivers, and worse. I don't qualify through my track record; I qualify through Christ's blood. There are no tiers in the Kingdom—only IN or OUT, and I am IN. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NO condemnation for me in Christ Jesus—which means no reduced favor, no limited access, no second-class status. I walk in the full BARAK blessing TODAY.
The Father doesn't have a favorites list based on who messed up least—He has ONE list of blood-bought sons who qualify fully through Jesus. While you've been comparing yourself to others, He's been offering you the SAME inheritance as every other son, because Jesus makes everyone equal at the cross.
