"My parents' divorce shattered me and I'll never be whole again."
How it sounds in your head: You remember the fighting, the lawyers, the custody calendar, the two bedrooms, the holidays split in half. Something inside you broke when they broke apart. Everyone says you'll be fine, but you KNOW you're carrying pieces that don't fit together anymore.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you."
-- Joel 2:25Enemy convincing her that their broken covenant fractured her identity permanently, that she's collateral damage with no path to wholeness.
Her world literally divided—two houses, two lives, two versions of holidays. She feels like a puzzle with missing pieces, constantly torn between worlds, never fully belonging anywhere.
Mephibosheth was crippled as a child fleeing violence, orphaned, hidden in poverty, believing he was forgotten. King David found him and INSTANTLY restored everything—land, wealth, a permanent seat at the king's table, treated as a son despite his brokenness.
I REFUSE the lie that their divorce shattered me beyond wholeness. IT IS WRITTEN that God will RESTORE the years the locusts have eaten—not slowly, not partially, but COMPLETELY. My identity is not 'child of divorce'—my identity is DAUGHTER OF THE KING. IT IS WRITTEN that He makes all things new, that I am seated at His table regardless of what broke in my earthly family. I possess the blessing of Abraham, which cannot be broken by human covenants ending. I am whole because HE is whole in me.
Your Father sees every fractured moment, every custody exchange, every holiday you faked being okay, and He's not asking you to piece yourself back together. He's declaring 'I RESTORE'—instantly, completely, supernaturally. You're not collateral damage. You're the daughter getting everything back with interest.
