"My memory is going and soon I won't even recognize my own family. Dementia is inevitable."

Why this feels true:

You've watched friends deteriorate mentally and seen the vacant stares in the nursing home. You forget names, repeat stories, and sometimes lose track of where you are, which terrifies you.

Caleb was 85 years old and declared, 'I am as strong this day as on the day Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength.' God sustained his physical AND mental strength to complete his assignment of taking the mountain.

I REFUSE the lie that dementia is my inevitable fate. IT IS WRITTEN that I have the MIND OF CHRIST, and my mind is sharp, clear, and functioning perfectly. Christ redeemed me from confusion and madness—those are part of the curse I've been delivered from. IT IS WRITTEN that old men who fulfill their days keep their faculties. I am Caleb at 85 declaring my strength is as it was—mentally, spiritually, and physically. The BARAK blessing includes a sound mind, and I receive supernatural mental clarity NOW.
