"My joints and flexibility are already deteriorating—I'll be stiff by 30."
How it sounds in your head: My knees hurt after cheer practice. My back aches. I'm not as flexible as I was at 12. Athletes talk about bodies breaking down. Am I already on that path?
"Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones."
-- Proverbs 3:7-8Enemy projection of athletic burnout and adult joint issues onto developing teenage bodies.
Growing pains are real. Sports injuries happen. Culture normalizes athletic decline in 20s.
Crippled in both feet from age 5, Mephibosheth ate at the king's table daily like a son. David's covenant RESTORED his position instantly despite permanent physical limitations—blessing wasn't conditional on perfect mobility.
I REFUSE the lie that my joints are deteriorating. IT IS WRITTEN that God gives HEALTH to my flesh and STRENGTH to my bones. My skeletal system is under divine command to FLOURISH, not fail. IT IS WRITTEN in Exodus 15:26 that the Lord is my HEALER. The BARAK blessing commands STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY over every joint, ligament, and bone. Athletic decline has no legal right to my covenant body. I am SUPPLE and STRONG in Him, regardless of my age or activity level.
The Father sees your joints and speaks STRENGTH over them like He did over David's mighty men who leaped over walls at 50. He's not counting your injuries—He's commanding RESTORATION with every breath you take.
