"My inheritance from God is heaven when I die—nothing for my actual needs now."
How it sounds in your head: Sure, I'll get streets of gold in heaven, but what about the bills today? The theology sounds nice but my bank account says God's inheritance is spiritual—future, not now. I'll be rich in heaven and broke until I get there.
"Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel's, who shall not receive a hundredfold NOW IN THIS TIME—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life."
-- Mark 10:29-30Religion splitting God's provision into 'spiritual future' and 'earthly struggle now,' making blessing something you wait for in death rather than walk in during life.
Every sermon about heaven's riches came with implied acceptance of earth's poverty. Decades of praying without seeing financial breakthrough makes 'heaven later' feel like the only honest answer to 'provision now.'
Down to her last meal, preparing to eat and die with her son—no future hope, just managing poverty until death. Elijah shows up and asks for bread FIRST, and instantly her oil and flour multiplied DAILY—present-tense, earthly, in-this-life provision that didn't stop until the famine ended (years of supernatural supply).
I REFUSE the lie that God's inheritance waits until I die! IT IS WRITTEN that I receive a hundredfold NOW IN THIS TIME—houses, lands, provision in THIS LIFE. The widow of Zarephath got DAILY supernatural supply in the middle of famine—present tense, earthly provision. The BARAK blessing that made Abraham wealthy, Isaac prosperous, Jacob rich is MINE now, not later. IT IS WRITTEN: I am blessed in the city and in the field, coming in and going out—LIFE blessings, TODAY. My Father doesn't ration provision to heaven—He opens windows NOW!
Your Father isn't making you wait until heaven to show His goodness—He wants you tasting it NOW, experiencing it in this life, seeing provision in real time. The streets of gold are real, but so is bread on your table today, and He delights in giving both.
