"My growth spurts and body changes mean everything will just keep getting worse from here."
How it sounds in your head: My body is changing so fast and I have no control. Everyone says puberty is hard but then adulthood is harder. Pregnancy wrecks your body, aging wrecks it more. Like my body is just a ticking time bomb of decline.
"I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well."
-- Psalm 139:14World system: 'peak in teens, decline forever' narrative + female body treated as liability not glory.
Puberty feels chaotic and out of control, and every message from culture says bodies betray you—periods, pregnancy, menopause, aging. She's told her body will never be as 'good' as it is right now.
Hannah's womb was closed—barren for YEARS, taunted by her rival, body not functioning as designed. God remembered her, she conceived, and her body functioned PERFECTLY through pregnancy and nursing. Her body didn't decline—it FLOURISHED when God opened what was closed.
I REFUSE the lie that my body is a liability declining from here. IT IS WRITTEN: Psalm 139:14—I am FEARFULLY and WONDERFULLY made, and my Father's works are MARVELOUS. Every change in my body is under His good design. IT IS WRITTEN: Philippians 1:6—He who BEGAN a good work in me will COMPLETE it. I am not falling apart; I am being FORMED. I am under the BARAK blessing where 'blessed shall be your body' (Deuteronomy 28:4). My body is glory, not burden. My future is increase, not decline. I trust His design.
Your Father doesn't see your changing body and think 'this will only get worse.' He sees His daughter BECOMING, and He superintends every hormonal shift, every growth spurt, every change with the same careful love that opened Hannah's womb at the perfect time—not after she earned it.
