"I should expect less energy and vitality in my thirties than I had in my twenties."
How it sounds in your head: I'm just tired all the time now. I can't stay up like I used to. I need more coffee, more recovery time. Everyone says your energy drops after 30. I guess this is just reality—my peak years are behind me.
"Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's."
-- Psalm 103:5Enemy using biological determinism to establish decline narrative and rob current years of expectation for abundant life.
She feels more tired than she used to. Cultural messaging is relentless: 'Wait till you're older,' 'You're not 21 anymore.' Friends her age are exhausted. The medical establishment offers bandaids (vitamins, caffeine) but no expectation of restoration.
Moses was 120 years old when he died, yet Scripture specifically records that his eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished. After 120 years—40 in Egypt, 40 in wilderness, 40 leading Israel—he had the same strength, the same eyesight, the same vitality. No decline.
I REFUSE the lie that my energy must decline with each passing year. IT IS WRITTEN that God satisfies my mouth with good things so my youth is renewed like the eagle's—I shed the old and receive perpetual renewal. I am not under the curse of depletion; I am under the blessing of restoration. IT IS WRITTEN that those who wait on the Lord renew their strength, run and not be weary—my energy source is the Spirit of the living God, not my birth year. I reject exhaustion as normal and receive supernatural vitality. Moses had undimmed eyes and undiminished vigor at 120—the same God who sustained him sustains me. I have abundant life now.
The Father isn't rationing energy based on your age—He's the same God who never sleeps or slumbers. He's running toward you with the strength you need for today, celebrating the vitality He's releasing while you're still convinced you're supposed to be tired.
