"My family has no money, so I have no inheritance to receive."
How it sounds in your head: We're the poor family. There's nothing to inherit—no house, no savings, no 'family money.' I start from zero while others start ahead. I have to build everything from scratch.
"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich."
-- 2 Corinthians 8:9Poverty mindset from earthly lack blinding her to spiritual abundance—the enemy using temporary circumstances to define permanent identity.
She sees friends with bigger houses, family vacations, college funds. Her family scrapes by and there's no tangible 'leg up' waiting for her. The lack is real and visible.
She was a broke, foreign widow with zero inheritance—no land, no family wealth, no prospects. She gleaned leftover grain just to survive. One encounter with Boaz, and she went from poverty to OWNER of the field, from childless widow to great-grandmother of King David, in the Messianic line—instant, complete reversal.
I REFUSE the lie that my family's lack determines my inheritance. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus became poor so that I, through His poverty, might become RICH. My inheritance is not my parents' balance sheet—it's the blessing of Abraham, which is mine by COVENANT. IT IS WRITTEN that Christ redeemed me from the curse of poverty so the BARAK could flow to me—I am blessed in the city and in the field, blessed coming in and going out. I am the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath. I don't start from zero—I start as a joint-heir with Christ, seated with Him in heavenly places, with ACCESS to everything the Father has. The BARAK protected Abraham even when he had nothing, and it covers me NOW. I receive supernatural provision, open doors, and overflow—starting TODAY, in Jesus' name.
Papa isn't waiting for your earthly family to get money so He can bless you—He's running toward you with the fattened calf, the robe, the ring, because His supply isn't tied to your parents' income. He's the God who fills empty nets and provides coins in fish mouths.
