THE LIE Too Much

"My energy level is too high and I need to calm down to fit in."

How it sounds in your head: You've been told since childhood to 'calm down' and 'use your inside voice.' Even now, people comment on your energy. You can feel the room shift when you walk in with excitement. You've learned to suppress it, but it feels like suffocating.

Enemy whispers: Your energy is too much. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Jeremiah 20:9 - God's word was like BURNING FIRE in his bones, and he was weary holding it back. Your energy isn't excessive - it's ANOINTING. The fire in you wasn't meant to be controlled; it was meant to be RELEASED. IT IS WRITTEN in Acts 2:2 that the Spirit came as RUSHING WIND and FIRE. God doesn't do subtle; why should you?

I REFUSE the lie that my energy is too much. IT IS WRITTEN that God's word is like fire in my bones that I cannot hold back. My enthusiasm is HOLY SPIRIT FIRE, not a personality flaw. The same God who created LIGHTNING and WATERFALLS created me - He doesn't do boring. IT IS WRITTEN in Ecclesiastes 9:10 that whatever my hand finds to do, I should do it with ALL my might. The BARAK blessing over me means my energy ATTRACTS opportunity and favor. I am not too much; I am ALIVE.
