"I talk too much and should learn to be quieter"
How it sounds in your head: Teachers always tell me to stop talking. My parents say I never shut up. I see people's eyes glaze over when I'm talking and I know I should stop, but the words just keep coming. I wish I could just be quiet like other kids.
"But the Lord said to me: 'Do not say, I am a youth, for you shall go to all to whom I send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak.'"
-- Jeremiah 1:7Religious spirit and world system teaching that being quiet equals being good, suppressing the voice God gave him.
He's been shushed, corrected, or ignored multiple times when speaking. Adults have praised quieter kids in his presence, making him believe his voice is a problem.
God told Ezekiel to eat a scroll and then speak non-stop to Israel, even when they refused to listen. His constant speaking wasn't too much—it was his ASSIGNMENT, and God backed every word with power.
I REFUSE the lie that my voice is too much or that I need to be quieter to be acceptable. IT IS WRITTEN that I shall speak whatever God commands me, and He gave me this voice for a REASON. My words are not a burden—they carry LIFE and PURPOSE. IT IS WRITTEN that the blessing of the Lord is on my mouth, that I am blessed coming in and going out, and that includes every word I speak. The BARAK covenant over my life means my voice carries divine favor. I don't need to shrink or silence myself. God has things He wants to say THROUGH me, and I will not apologize for the way He wired me. I am the head and not the tail, and my words will build up, encourage, and speak truth.
The Father isn't covering His ears wishing you'd be quiet. He's AMPLIFYING your voice, preparing platforms and people who need to hear exactly what you have to say. He made you verbal on purpose, and He's about to show you WHY.
