"My early twenties are gone and I have nothing to show for them"
How it sounds in your head: These were supposed to be my building years. Other guys laid foundations I don't have. I can see the gap between where I am and where I should be, and those years won't come back.
"Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be theirs."
-- Isaiah 61:7Cultural lie that your twenties determine your trajectory and missing those years means permanent disadvantage
He watches peers with houses, promotions, serious relationships while he's still figuring out basics. The contrast feels like evidence of lost time.
A criminal with ZERO to show for his entire life—literally dying for his crimes—spoke one sentence of faith and Jesus said 'TODAY you will be with Me in Paradise.' Didn't need to show fruit, restitution, or changed life. One moment, full inheritance.
I REFUSE the lie that my early twenties define my future or that blank years mean a blank destiny. IT IS WRITTEN: instead of shame I receive DOUBLE honor, instead of confusion I possess DOUBLE. God doesn't restore me to baseline—He DOUBLES what the enemy stole. I am under the ABRAHAMIC BLESSING by covenant, the same blessing that protected and prospered LIARS and DECEIVERS because it was based on PROMISE not performance. IT IS WRITTEN: the gifts and calling of God are IRREVOCABLE. My calling didn't wait for my twenties to be productive. The Father is running toward me with DOUBLE, not a lecture about wasted time.
While you see empty years, the Father sees a Prodigal who's about to receive DOUBLE—the party isn't diminished by how long you were gone, it's BIGGER because the waiting is over. He kept the inheritance growing while you were away.
