"My disability makes me undateable or unlovable romantically."
How it sounds in your head: You watch friends get engaged and wonder who would choose this—choose doctor appointments and accessibility needs and a body that doesn't work 'normally.' Dating feels like asking someone to sign up for a harder life. Maybe you're meant to be alone because who would want this package?
"You are all fair, my love, and there is no flaw in you."
-- Song of Solomon 4:7Enemy's lie that romantic love is conditional on physical perfection, rather than seeing how covenant love mirrors Christ's unconditional pursuit.
You've seen people's discomfort, felt invisible in romantic spaces, watched interest fade when they understand the reality. Society equates desirability with ability.
Had 'weak eyes'—a physical flaw in a culture that prized beauty. Unloved by her husband initially. Yet God SAW her, OPENED her womb, and made her mother of JUDAH—the Messianic line. Her limitation didn't disqualify her from God's greatest purposes or from eventually being loved.
I REFUSE the lie that my disability makes me unlovable. IT IS WRITTEN that I am ALL fair with NO flaw in the eyes of my Bridegroom, Jesus. My worth in relationship is not measured by physical ability but by who I AM in Christ. The BARAK blessing includes FAVOR—supernatural favor that opens doors ability cannot. IT IS WRITTEN that God rejoices over me as a bridegroom rejoices over a bride. If the King of Kings delights in me, I am ABSOLUTELY worthy of human love. My disability does not diminish my desirability—I am a PRIZE, a beloved daughter, fully worthy of covenant love.
The Father is not worried about your romantic future—He's already written your love story, and it's GOOD. He's not scrambling to find someone willing to 'settle' for you. He's preparing someone who will see you as the GIFT you are, disability and all, and count themselves blessed to love you.
