"My disability makes me undesirable and no one will want to build a life with me."
How it sounds in your head: Dating profiles that go silent when you mention it. That guy who seemed interested until he realized the extent of your limitations. You're afraid you'll be someone's burden, not their partner. Maybe love is for bodies that cooperate.
"You are all fair, my love, and there is no flaw in you."
-- Song of Solomon 4:7World system defining desirability by physical perfection and convenience rather than covenant value.
You've been ghosted after disclosure. You've heard 'you're amazing but...' followed by reasons tied to your condition. Society worships able bodies and you're constantly reminded yours doesn't fit the standard.
Had 'weak eyes'—a physical flaw Scripture specifically mentions, unloved by her husband who wanted her sister. Yet God SAW her, opened her womb, made her mother of Judah—the Messianic line. Her 'flaw' didn't disqualify her from God's greatest purposes or from being chosen.
I REFUSE the lie that my disability makes me undesirable or unworthy of love. IT IS WRITTEN I am ALL fair and there is NO FLAW in me in God's eyes—and His opinion is the only one that defines my value. I am not a burden; I am a daughter, fully loved, fully seen, fully chosen. The BARAK blessing covers my relationships—the right person is attracted TO me, not despite me. IT IS WRITTEN I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I declare I am desirable, worthy of covenant love, pursued by the Father who sees no defect in me. Any person who sees my body as a disqualifier has disqualified themselves.
Father isn't waiting for you to 'fix' yourself to bring the right person—He's already written that story, disability included, and He's RUNNING to you now saying, 'You are breathtaking exactly as you are.' The right love won't require you to be different.
