"My dad body means I've lost my value and attractiveness."
How it sounds in your head: You're not the athlete you were. The weight around your middle won't budge no matter what you do. Your wife probably isn't attracted to you anymore. You look at guys at the gym and feel like a failure.
"But the Lord said to Samuel, 'Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.'"
-- 1 Samuel 16:7Source: worldly standards that worship youth and measure worth by physical appearance.
Your body is changing in your thirties despite your efforts, and culture says your peak is behind you. You compare yourself to college photos or more fit coworkers and feel like you're losing ground daily.
Isaac sowed in famine and reaped a hundredfold the same year—the BARAK blessing made him so wealthy the king asked him to leave. His productivity had nothing to do with his body and everything to do with covenant.
I REFUSE the lie that my changing body determines my value. IT IS WRITTEN that God looks at the heart, not physical appearance. I declare that my worth is in Christ, not my waistline. IT IS WRITTEN that there is no condemnation for me—none when I'm fit, none when I'm not. I am Abraham's seed, blessed with the BARAK that isn't based on my physical condition. Like Isaac who prospered regardless of circumstances, I carry covenant blessing that transcends my body's changes.
The Father is running toward you with the robe of righteousness, not a gym membership. He sees you as perfectly complete in Christ, and He's already declared you beautiful—your changing body doesn't change His love one degree.
