"My conception was a sin - I'm the product of something shameful."
How it sounds in your head: I found out later how I was conceived - outside marriage, an affair, violence. The circumstances of my beginning mark me. How can something born from sin be clean?
"The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself."

The facts of conception are undeniable and you've carried the shame for decades. Church teaching about illegitimacy reinforced that you're somehow 'less than' because of how you started.
Born from Judah sleeping with his daughter-in-law Tamar (who he thought was a prostitute) in an incestuous scandal - yet Pharez is listed in JESUS' genealogy in Matthew 1. The 'shameful conception' became part of the Messianic line because God's purpose supersedes human sin.
I REFUSE the lie that my conception defines my worth. IT IS WRITTEN that the son does NOT bear the guilt of the father - their sin is NOT my identity. Whatever happened at my conception, GOD authored my life with intentionality and purpose. IT IS WRITTEN that I am a NEW creation in Christ - old things passed away, ALL things became new. The blood of Jesus doesn't just cover my sin - it covers the circumstances of my origin. I am not 'product of sin' - I am product of DIVINE PURPOSE. At 80+ years, I declare: my beginning doesn't define my identity - HIS finished work does.
The Father looks at you and sees NO stain from your conception - He sees the son He planned before the foundation of the world. Just like Pharez in Jesus' lineage, God takes the most scandalous beginnings and writes them into His redemption story.
