"My chronic pain is God's will because He hasn't removed it yet."
How it sounds in your head: You've prayed for decades and it's still here. Clearly God wants you to have this pain, or He would have taken it by now. Maybe it's keeping you humble or dependent. Either way, it's His will.
"How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him."
-- Acts 10:38Theology that equates delayed healing with denied healing, making God the author of prolonged suffering.
The pain has lasted so long that it feels permanent and purposeful. If God really opposed it, surely He would have intervened by now in ninety years.
A woman was bent over for eighteen years, unable to stand straight. Jesus called it satanic bondage, not God's teaching tool, and IMMEDIATELY healed her when He spoke. Eighteen years of suffering ended in one moment.
I REFUSE the lie that my chronic pain is God's will. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus healed ALL who were oppressed by the devil—and oppression is the source, not divine curriculum. My pain may have been long, but it's not permanent or purposeful in God's plan. IT IS WRITTEN that the woman bent eighteen years was instantly freed when Jesus spoke. I am blessed in my body, blessed above and not beneath, and the BARAK blessing doesn't negotiate with symptoms or timelines. My Father's will is healing, and I align my faith with His revealed nature in Jesus.
Your Father isn't sitting in heaven satisfied with your pain, thinking it's serving some mysterious purpose. He's running toward you with healing in His hands, grieved by every moment of your suffering, ready to end it in an instant if you'll receive it.
