"My body's inability to conceive proves I'm defective and cursed from the beginning."
How it sounds in your head: Something was wrong with me from the start. My body couldn't do the one thing it was designed to do. I'm broken at a fundamental level. While other women's bodies worked perfectly, mine betrayed me month after month, year after year. I was made wrong, built defective, cursed with a body that couldn't fulfill its purpose.
"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: 'Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.'"
-- Galatians 3:13Enemy lie rooted in Genesis 3 curse applied personally, forgetting Christ REDEEMED us from every curse at the cross.
Her body literally didn't function the way other women's did—the evidence seemed biological, medical, undeniable. Doctors confirmed what felt true: something wasn't working, something was broken, something was wrong with HER specifically.
Jochebed conceived Moses during a time when Pharaoh ordered all Hebrew baby boys KILLED—her womb opened during GENOCIDE. What looked like the worst possible timing became the birth of Israel's DELIVERER. Closed wombs and opened wombs are both in God's hands for purposes beyond biology.
I REFUSE the lie that my body's inability to conceive makes me defective or cursed. IT IS WRITTEN that Christ redeemed me from EVERY CURSE by becoming a curse for me—which means I am under BLESSING, not curse, regardless of my physical circumstances. Sarah was called BLESSED by God while still barren—blessing isn't dependent on biological function. IT IS WRITTEN in Deuteronomy 28:4 that MY womb is blessed because I am in covenant, whether it bore children or not. The BARAK blessing doesn't require biological proof—it protected Abraham the LIAR and Jacob the DECEIVER regardless of their behavior, so it covers me regardless of my body's function. I am NOT defective; I am DESIGNED by a Father who makes no mistakes, and my path serves His purposes perfectly. My Father runs toward me calling my body FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE (Psalm 139:14), not broken.
Your Father is running toward you saying, 'I didn't make you defective—I made you perfectly for the path I had for you, and that path doesn't require biological motherhood to be COMPLETE or BLESSED. You are under My BARAK, which covers everything about you with purpose and glory beyond what you can see.'
