"My body is broken beyond repair and I'll never be whole again."
How it sounds in your head: I'm not even 30 and my body is failing. Other guys my age are hitting PRs at the gym and I can barely get out of bed some days. My strength is supposed to be peaking, not declining. How am I supposed to be a provider, a protector, a husband someday when I can't even provide for myself? This chronic condition isn't going away—it's degenerative. The medical term literally means 'getting worse.' I'm watching my future disappear in real-time.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you."

He's lived with this for months or years—it's not theoretical, it's his daily reality. Every morning he wakes up and the pain is still there. He's tried treatments and they haven't worked. 'Chronic' means ongoing; 'degenerative' means worsening. The medical definition supports the enemy's narrative.
A man was an invalid for THIRTY-EIGHT YEARS—not days, not months, but nearly four decades of being unable to walk, watching others get healed while he remained broken. Jesus asked him one question—'Do you want to be made well?'—spoke one command—'Rise, take up your bed and walk'—and IMMEDIATELY the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. Thirty-eight years of 'chronic' and 'permanent' erased in ONE MOMENT.
I REFUSE the lie that my body is beyond repair. IT IS WRITTEN that God restores the years the locust has eaten—not just stops the damage but RESTORES what was lost. This body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and the same power that raised Christ from the dead dwells in me and gives LIFE to my mortal body. I am not declining, not degenerating, not managing a condition. I am a son under the Abrahamic blessing, and the blessing of Deuteronomy 28 declares I am blessed in my body. IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I am healed. I receive complete restoration—not in years, not in months, but NOW. Father, You're already running toward me with resurrection power.
Your Father sees you exactly where you are—chronic pain, limited mobility, years of disappointment—and He's not disappointed in you. He's running toward you like the Prodigal's father, not with a management plan for your condition but with COMPLETE HEALING in His hands, because His nature is wholeness and He can't help Himself.
