"My body disqualifies me. I'm too much or not enough—either way, wrong and unlovable as I am."
How it sounds in your head: Every mirror reminds me. Every Instagram scroll confirms it. Guys swipe past me. I see how people look at thinner, prettier, curvier girls. I hate my body and can't imagine someone loving it.
"You are all fair, my love, and there is no spot in you."
-- Song of Solomon 4:7Enemy + world: A culture that profits from your insecurity taught you that your body determines your value and lovability.
You've watched guys pursue other girls, felt invisible at parties, been rejected or fetishized. Diet culture, social media, even church purity talks made your body the problem to fix.
A barren woman in a culture that measured female worth by fertility—her body was 'failing' by every social standard. Her husband's other wife mocked her body's inability daily. God didn't require her to fix herself. He SAW her, heard her cry, opened her womb instantly, and made her mother to Samuel, the prophet who anointed kings.
I REFUSE the lie that my body disqualifies me from love. IT IS WRITTEN that I am ALL FAIR with NO SPOT—not after I change, RIGHT NOW. The Father didn't make a mistake when He formed me. I am FEARFULLY and WONDERFULLY made, knit together in my mother's womb by the God who doesn't mess up. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 139:14 I will praise Him, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. The BARAK blessing over me is not based on measurements, likes, or how I compare to filters. I am Abraham's seed, blessed by COVENANT not curves.
The Father isn't waiting for you to fix your body to love you. He chose that body as the HOUSE for His Spirit, the TEMPLE where He dwells. He's not disappointed. He's DELIGHTED. Every inch is His workmanship.
