"My addiction is genetic. It's in my family line. I inherited this curse and can't escape it."
How it sounds in your head: Your father drank himself to death. Your grandfather too. The pattern is undeniable—same demons, same struggles, same fate. It's in your blood, stamped in your genes.
"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree')."
-- Galatians 3:13Generational curse doctrine that ignores Christ breaking EVERY curse at the cross, teaching that bloodline overpowers the Blood of Jesus.
Science supports it—addiction runs in families. You've watched your relatives fall to the same substances. The genetic research is clear: you were predisposed from birth.
Rahab came from a pagan city destined for destruction, worked as a prostitute, entire family line cursed. One act of faith and God placed her in the MESSIANIC LINE—great-great-grandmother of King David, ancestor of Jesus Himself.
I REFUSE the lie that my family genetics control my destiny. IT IS WRITTEN: Christ has REDEEMED me from EVERY curse—generational, genetic, inherited. I am not defined by my father's failures or my grandfather's demons. I am a NEW creation; old bloodlines have NO POWER over the blood of Jesus. IT IS WRITTEN: the blessing of Abraham is mine—the same covenant that broke Egypt's curses breaks every family curse over me. I am the head, not the tail; blessed, not cursed; FREE, not enslaved.
When the Father looks at you, He doesn't see your grandfather's alcoholism or your father's demons. He sees you IN CHRIST—brand new bloodline, royal priesthood, holy nation, purchased possession.
