"Money would have corrupted me, so God kept me poor to keep me humble and holy."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe you're poor because you couldn't handle wealth. God knows you'd have messed it up, become prideful, wandered from faith. Poverty was His protection, not His problem.
"And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day."

You've seen rich men fall—affairs, pride, abandoning faith. The church taught 'money is the root of all evil.' Maybe God loved you enough to keep you from that trap.
Job was BLAMELESS, yet God gave him DOUBLE what he had before—14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, massive wealth. God didn't say 'that'll corrupt you'—He LOADED him up because blessing establishes covenant, not character tests.
I REFUSE the lie that God kept me poor to keep me holy. IT IS WRITTEN: God GIVES power to get wealth to ESTABLISH HIS COVENANT, not to test me. Poverty isn't spiritual protection—it's part of the curse Christ REDEEMED me from. Abraham was wealthy and walked with God. The BARAK blessing made him rich even after he LIED—twice. IT IS WRITTEN: Job was doubled in wealth BECAUSE he was righteous, not kept poor. My Father isn't afraid of what wealth would do TO me—He's excited about what it will do THROUGH me. I receive the blessing without apology.
Your Father doesn't withhold good things because He's afraid you'll mess up—He's the one who gave Solomon EVERYTHING he asked for PLUS what he didn't ask for. He TRUSTS the finished work of the cross in you. The prodigal blew it all and STILL got the party. You haven't even blown it—you've been faithful. You're overqualified for breakthrough.
